Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays - Alfama and Mouraria
If you get lost, don't worry: that's the point!
Discover Lisbon’s oldest gems – from the multicultural birthplace of Fado in Mouraria to the historic charm of Alfama, the city’s oldest quarter.
Enjoy grilled sardines, homemade ginjinha, and the vibrant flea market. Alfama is a picturesque journey through time, resembling an Islamic medina with narrow streets, charming squares, and white-washed houses adorned with tiles.
Explore the Moorish quarter, the castle’s hillside, and Lisbon Cathedral, all while taking in stunning city views from various viewpoints. If you join us on Tuesdays or Saturdays, conclude your adventure at the centuries-old Feira da Ladra flea market.

Explore Lisbon’s bohemian haven, Bairro Alto – tranquil by day, alive at night with people of all ages reveling in drinks and street festivities.
Our journey starts in the historic neighborhoods of Carmo and Trindade, home to the ruins of the Convent of Carmo, the Elevator of Santa Justa, and the baroque church of São Roque.
Descending to Bica, enjoy the famous funicular and a breathtaking river view. Stroll through the rejuvenated Chiado, once devastated by fire in 1988 but now an elegant and sophisticated district.
Immerse yourself in the vibrant urban atmosphere where early 20th-century Lisbon’s cultural and intellectual elites once gathered in restaurants and cafés.
